He will be either a double or triple spy IMO

Good episode - Carrie and Brody stole the show again.

Seems like everything is falling into place as been discussed in this thread.

Brody is a double spy, next episode we'll find out if he's a triple spy.

The daughter and the Veep's son are still on pace for death IMO. Don't know how the hit and run arc fits into that other than straining their relationship... TBD.

Brody confirmed they would come after his family when Nasir finds out. Daughter = toast.

We got this shite on lockdown.

Wow, just wow. This show is amazing, I am worn out from this episode. You gotta feel for Brody and everything he's been through.

I'm worried about Brody's daughter Dana.

In the pilot Carrie walks in and takes an engagement ring off and puts it in a bowl by get door

They never referenced that again but you know it is coming

She said in that episode she only wears that to weed out the men looking for relationships

Agree, I'm not sure how the hit and run fits in but I'd be willing to bet that its traced back to them setting off a media firestorm; resulting in Walden losing the election (Carrie/Brody conversation in car about Walden still having to win). Which could piss Nasir off that Brody couldn't get come through on what he promised turning Nasir on the VP's son and Dana.

Yeah, I agree with y'all... Alerting Nasir of the assassination attempt is going to come back to haunt Brody.

I think that was part of her cover.

Tonight's episode was great. I'm glad Carrie was able to make some positive (and simultaneously cathartic) headway with Brodie.

For some reason - this particular ep gave me a lot of the same vibe I got from the movie Magnolia (stick with me here). There are a couple "themes" from that movie that work in similar fashion in that movie as well as Homeland...

1. The smarter you are - The more you are alone in the world.

2. More often than you would think - It's the one that's least likely that ends up being there for you.

I will admit I wasn't happy that Homeland performed the way it did at the Emmy's. However, this show is really starting to explore the human psyche (much like Mad Men did when it took off). I think tonight was the best episode of the series and I hope this show continues to perform as it has in this season so far.

Very good episode. Why doesn't Brodie just admit to wearing the vest?

He did. He even told them who gave him the vest

This is a show I can't stop watching and I don't know why. I think it's good, but I don't think I'm as into it as some on here. I'm not so invested in these characters. Maybe some more character development in the early stages would have helped me but I'm not really sure.

I watch every episode and like it, but don't love it

I actually feel that more character development in the beginning would have been a mistake - we don't know what the characters are always thinking/feeling which creates the drama and excitement. By not having predictable, even likable characters would have killed the show IMO

Maybe that is true, but something is just off with me and the show...
