My grandpa took me to my first one...LSU vs Auburn in tiger stadium in 1988. I was 7...later I was seen passed out in a plate of Spaghetti at The Place (formerly Jake's place)...he kept a picture of that on the wall for so long.

He'll never forget it. Have fun and Geaux Tigers!!!

But aren't you afraid of all the swear words he is going to hear?

They quit playing "Neck". Should here a few less swear words.

I liked the crowd energy when they played it.

Yeah... I bet it will be at least a 75% reduction in the swearing because of that.

This is awesome, regardless of the weather. I can still remember my first game when I was 8, my grandparents took me. I was in absolute awe from tailgating to the end of the game. Just make sure the day is about him and whatever he wants to see or do is what you see and do...even if that means leaving after the first quarter, do it. My little girl went to her first one with me when she was 4 jsut to tailgate and she is my LSU buddy now no matter what the sport is.

It's too wet for Mike to be at the game. If you get the chance go by and see his habitat (I want to visit BR just to see Mike's digs).

I will never forget the first time in Death Valley. Played Texas AM, beat em bad too. Passes alot of cadets on the way home too. Feed and water they boy as he wants, even if he pukes it up. Have Fun. Make sure you are in your seats for pregame march. I still can't wait for those first notes from the band.

i m from ms so i almost grew up being an ole miss fan. thank god he took me to death valley. i was sold the first day. my cousin was in band and introduced me to all the golden girls who were terribly hot and nice to me. we got our asses kicked basically until i went to school here but a love was born. it all seemed so huge and bigger than life. i think i was 8 or 9.
