I noticed he credited La'El Collins with 1 knockdown in his OL breakdown from the AU game.

Big #70 had knockdowns on the first 4 plays!!

He also had 3 pancakes that I saw, completely separate from the 4 KDs. Only one of which was a combo block.

I rarely read his "Film Study." Is it usually this inaccurate?

Doc's film study:

1. Receivers need to catch the ball when it hits them in the hands
2. O line needs to block better
3. Don't run the RB straight into a 10 man defensive front, call an audible for a different play

CrazyLSUfan's film study:

1) OT's block better
2) WR's stop dropping passes and you will see offense open up
3) Defense: Keep doing what you're doing.

i havent read it this year but i noticed last year he was always saying crap like "if Mathieu would have cut back to the left it would have been a sure TD" or "if the WR runs on this side of the ref, Reid has no chance to make a play and its a sure Bama TD" as if Jim Kleinpeter is the eyes of God.

Definitely not spot on in regard to Collins. Just check out the first 4 offensive plays for LSU.

JMO but this actually does serve a purpose. In the auburn game the play before Ford's touchdown was JC doing a fullback dive into a 10 man front. Next play they line up in the same formation and appear to run a similar play except its a pitch out to Ford who goes untouched into the end zone b/c the entire AU defense crashed down on the inside play except for one guy that Ford beat pretty easily.

I see your point, but that is the exception, and not really the rule...

Curley Hallman himself knows that. Hell, so does Jamie Howard. Christ, it's so obvious....throw! Throw!
