Shows getting too convoluted for me.
Yeah, after all is said and done, I plan on going back and marathon-watching Fringe in a month or so. I have a feeling it'll make more sense that way.
Lost sure as hell did, and was possibly more awesome for me the second time around.

Know what the greatest part of Fringe is going to be?
They'll be alive in the end..

How do we know that getting frozen in amber isn't how their brains process death and that this dystopian future isn't a purgatory where they all meet up to fix their unresolved issues before proceeding to the afterlife?

Because there's a machine that can change the world... Like in Alias.

Peter and Olivia, sure. But, I can see Etta, Walter, Afro, Broyles, etc...not making it to ep 13.

"The writers of Fringe are my A Team, they are the guys I trust for the best product." - J.J. in an interview..
(the writers for Fringe are not the Lost writers FWIW.. and he said this while Lost was actually still going on )

All jokes aside, this was a quote from Abrams:
"A final step taken was to script out all of the major long-running plot elements, including the show's finale, prior to full-time production."
This show has been heading on a specific path from the beginning.. getting there has been more than half the fun!
Abrams contrasted this to the process used in Lost, where ideas like character flashbacks and the hatch from the second season were introduced haphazardly and made difficulties in defining when they should be presented to the viewers. Instead, with Fringe, they were able to create "clearly defined goalposts" (in Itzkoff's words) that could be altered as necessary with network and seasonal changes but always provided a clear target for the overarching plot. These approaches also allowed the team to introduce unique plot elements to be introduced in time that would have altered the show's fate if known at the start.
"There are certain details that are hugely important that I believe, if shared, will destroy any chance of actually getting on the air."
The producers have stated that when the show's mythology is introduced, it is not simply there to tie episodes together, but "to provide answers that generate consequences"

If you do choose to continue, I would suggest starting a Chuck Sucks thread. It will send Fear into a blind rage and BA will have to go there to calm him down.

I did this prior to season 5 starting, though I hadn't seen all of season 4 either. Already knowing the direction the show had gone did help to pull the story together, though was painful to sit through 22 episode seasons when there were plenty of episodes that had 0 to maybe 5 minutes that contributed to the full series plot.

What a great episode. Walter was great as always. Olivia didn't have a huge role but the daughter
