Clean Article

Have to be a member to read. The kid has been tearing it up at Katy, TX. Already visited OU and A&M this year.

didn't we take a look at him before; maybe this summer and concluded he was a little too slow.

I don't think he came to LSU camp. He went to OU, A&M, and Nike Camp in Dallas. Not sure on speed, it's possible. LSU has picked up some steam on letters/calls to him and invited him to any game. Surprised they picked Towson

I know there was someone on this board that either knew him or kept pimping him out on the board

I knew him when he lived here when he was 8-9. Haven't seen him in 6 years or so.

Dad works for pipeline I believe. I know they move a lot. Not sure where he was born. He lived in West Monroe for 3-4 years then Covington for 2 or so before moving to Katy.

Could be. I would think he'd get faster in 3 years before he walks on a college campus. Only highlights I've seen were from his sophomore season.

This. Plus we already have Kain, so do we really need another MLB?

Can't put all our eggs in the Kain basket. i know he and his family are saying all the right things and I believe tham but that happened way too quick and quirky and there is a very long way to go. As of now i think he sticks but i wouldn't wager on it.

katy always fields a team of mostly corn-fed country boys. always extremely well coached, but I honestly don't consider them much of a "pipeline". they produce a lot of players but very few end up being texas/lsu caliber

I don't mind a slow LB. At least he'll still be in place if an RB breaks thru the line or a TE runs a cut route.

LSU is huge here in Houston, now imagine if the Tigers could get a game once a year at Reliant. Tons of high school talent in the area, would be great for recruiting.
