I fixed it... I did my best to get the dead and Jimi off the list and Queen to the top (I figured natural selection would keep the Beatles and Rolling Stones in)...
If bruce was on the list, I'd call in the troops to get him to the top...

Maybe make the numbers lower, and limit it to like 2 votes per person?
Start them all at 4 points, and subtract by 1 and add by 1 to your choice

Here’s an idea. genro can give everyone 10 minutes to rank the groups 1-10 and after the time he can’t tally the scores, i.e. 1=10 points; 2=9 points, and so on. This might make it easier.
I also propose we have the opportunity to cast a write-in vote in place of the one we would like to remove.
Here’s mine:
1. The Beatles
2. The Eagles
3. Led Zeppelin
4. The Beach Boys
5. The Rolling Stones
6. Bob Dylan
7. Jimi Hendrix
8. Pink Floyd
9. Queen
10. The Who
