I respect your love for the Dead, but this is false.

Please. The Dead didn't start releasing albums until 1967. By that time, Dylan already had 4 top 10 albums. He would have many, many more during his career. The Dead only have 1 top 10 album ever... and that wasn't until 1981.

Now tell me who is spreading more influence.

If you met Bob Dylan I bet you couldn't even handle a conversation with him. The man is a genius.

When it comes to influence on rock music it breaks down like this

1. Bob Dylan
1a. The Beatles

HUGE HUGE GAP

Everyone else.

You don't have to like them, but that is a fact, whether you acknowledge it or not.

Mostly because he can barely speak, but I would have no interest in a conversation with him.

completely disagree. Robert Hunter>>>>>>Bob Dylan

You could take off a few > but I am not here to disagree with Hunter being one of the greatest songwriters of all time

I have a few of his books at home. Got one with all the lyrics to his songs and his explanations of them. Very cool

The rule is now once per hour. Your votes are time-stamped and it most be at least one hour since your last vote.

THIS IS THE FINAL RULE CHANGE
