New contract runs out in 2020.
He's done a lot for Newcastle, but he can't be worth that much, especially in a sport where managers are immediately on the hot seat after a few bad results.

I thought they were fools for sacking Chris Houghton, but clearly they knew what they were doing. Usually teams only do this when they're afraid of a manager leaving, so who was the biggest threat to poach him?
