Anyone on this board interested in playing COED Flag Football? There is still room for 4 teams in the Monday Night league.

Geaux ASL

I've been playing in ASL for over a year now, and it's worth the money. I play 4 nights per week, coed flag football, men's flag football, and coed kickball on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Teams receive drink specials at participating bars / restaurants after each game, and it's a great environment to meet new people as well.

Maybe so. I am already playing for flag ball on Wednesdays at school. I might be able to do this as well since it's on Wednesdays. I hate the fact that I'd miss the Saints Monday Night game though

There's only one this season, and the League will have a bye that week for the game.

You can register a team and have your team members pay their portions directly so you don't have to pay the money upfront.

Register a team!

It is. The kickball leagues are almost sold out, and men's league is getting close to a sellout.

Coed has 4 teams, with 4 team slots remaining. I think the season will begin during the first 2 weeks of October.

Yeah. You're definitely not married with children.

Nope. However, there are a lot of players who are.

You can sign up as a Free Agent and they will put you on a roster that needs players. You can also email sports@geauxasl.com for more info and such.

Well that was uncalled for. We were getting along so well Chad. And you had to go and ruin it. I will now shun you. Which I'm looking forward to. It's an Amish technique. It's like slapping someone with silence. I was shunned from the age four until my sixth birthday for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna.

i'm tempted, but with my job i could find out any given day that i'll need to be out of the state for three weeks or something. don't want to take up a spot on a team and never be there.

If the team captain knows this ahead of time, and there are enough players on the roster to field a team in hour absence, then it isn't a problem. There are a lot of guys and gals who pay to play and end up missing most of the season due to other obligations. In fact, my kickball team captains plan for this by signing a couple extra guys or girls each season.

Even if you can't play, pass the word along. Most of the sports fill up fast, coed football is the only league that usually only has 5 teams in it. Having 6, 7, or even 8 teams in coed football would be awesome!

I'd love to, but I'm in Kenner. Not driving to Lafayette for flag football.
