I am one who is a bit let down with the TCU opener next year. For a variety of reasons:

1) It may very well be a fun road trip, but we just went there. Change it up a little.

2) TCU to me is not a "quality opponent" like Oregon was. They are comparable to playing Rutgers or Baylor or someone like that. Yeah, they are in the Top 25, but they just lack an attractiveness I cannot put my finger on. They are just not a fun team to play to me.

3) Neutral site games are okay once every 5 years or so, but this is colleg football. We want to see quality non-conference teams in Tiger Stadium, then have an opportunity to see LSU play in a new and traditional college football venue. I do not want to go to Dallas or Atlanta every other year.

Given the fact that the Notre Dame/Michigan series is now cancelled beginning in 2014, LSU needs to "not be scared of playing anyone anywhere" (excuse some have used for playing TCU which I just do not get) and schedule a good old fashioned home and home with Michigan for 2014-2015. I think Les would love this. Thoughts?

Because I have always wanted to schedule a home and home with Michigan more than any other team in the nation (never played them and want to see a game in the Big House).

Besides, I would not have thought shouting would be that foreign to a German fellow.

If it were to happen, it would most likely be in 2015 since Michigan needs someone to replace Notre Dame on their schedule starting then. LSU already gets Arizona State in Tiger Stadium that year. It would make a tough schedule, but maybe play in Ann Arbor in 2015 and in Tiger Stadium in 2016?

Well until the SEC championship begins to rotate, I want to go to Atlanta every year!

let's get Notre Dame on the 2025 and 2026 schedules

we need a BCS opponent on the 2014 schedule. that'll probably be another neutral site game.

Miles has states on numerous occasions that he does not want to play Michigan. It's only going to happen if its in a bowl.

You obviously know nothing about college football. TCU is not comparable to Rutgers or Baylor.

Michigan? Super. Sign the contract today.

I'm open to playing any FBS opponent. Sorry, Towson.

i'm not really a "link?" kinda guy, but link??

verge ausberry has stated more than once on radio interviews that we have called michigan to play a home and home and they said it would never happen as long as ND was on the schedule. hence the golden opportunity now.

unless that was just bs.

edit: unless of course your source is the radio and then we're both screwed
