Tirico Said Possession Not Reviewable

First, is this statement accurate, and second, if it is, why would it not be reviewable?

That is what the ref they interviewed said. That needs to change as well, makes no sense.

Absolutely. Of all plays, simultaneous possession (or in this case lack thereof) would have to be one of the plays most in need of review.

To answer the questions: Yes, it is accurate; as to why it is not subject to review, because the rules say it isn't. To most of us, it's an obvious flaw in the rules, but everyone operates under the same flawed system.

How is possession not reviewable? I've seen them review if a receiver has possession a million times. This is no different.

How can a play where a touchdown and interception on the same play not be reviewable. STUPID!!!!!

Sorry, should have said simultaneous possession not reviewable.
