In two weeks, Oregon will play Washington. Based on the results of that game, and how LSU fares against Florida earlier in the day, should give the Tigers the opportunity to jump the Ducks in the polls.

Just curious as to what the Rant thinks the Oregon/Washington score will be. I say 49-10 Ducks.

Well, Washington is playing a cleanly shaven QB at Oregon. I think Oregon will beat Washington worse.

Comes when we play Bama.

Or when Oregon loses.

That's about it.

Chip Kelly will see to it that they beat Washington worse than we did. He has a serious small man complex and likes to get the style points.

On the other hand, our coach would never do that, even if we needed it to advance in rankings.

Had a friend attend the Washington game, his trip to Tiger Stadium...he loved it...

had 4th row, 30 yard line seats behind LSU bench

he said "LSU is huge!"...."Washington looked like a HS team out there, was no contest"

You go from calling a man who runs up the score as a guy with a small man complex, to a damning comment about Les Miles for not wanting to run up the score. Which is it?

By the way, give me an example of when LSU squandered a chance to move up in rank because they didn't "blow someone out enough". Thanks.....

Again, your fourth grade education may keep you from realizing that it was a compliment to our coach. He doesn't play to the media.

Ah, well it sounded back handed to me.

Anyway, when has LSU been declined moving up in rank because they didn't beat a cupcake by enough points?

I never compare when one of the common opponent is an in conference opponent to one of the teams

in conference competition is just another animal. They know each other better, they play each other ever year. It is just different

not fair to either team

Does not matter. We win out we play for it all. No one can beat Bama besides LSU, with that the polls are shite.

didn't we try to run up the score on arky last year to keep 'pace' with what bama did to them?

but im sure its a completely isolated incident though.
