So far, we really seem to be missing Reuben Randle the most.

None of our receivers has stepped up to be "that guy" that can be counted on to make the big play in the passing game. I can't help but feel, that if it had been RR on the end of both of those long passes that Mett threw to OBJ and Shep, those catches would have been made. Losing him has been a bigger loss to our passing game than I anticipated.

Based on his Twitter feed, LSU may miss Randle, but Randle doesn't miss LSU. LOL.

(This is just a joke. Not a serious commentary on Saturday's game.)

We just need to play Boone more. I'm not sure what coaches are seeing in practice, but it appears that in games he is always open.

RR would've definitely been open and/or had that deep ball that hit Shep. He could go up and get balls and created great separation.

He would've been used so much more this year than years past. Should've definitely stayed IMO.

This is true. In ODB3 I am very disappoint so far

Eta: and Shep too. I really wanted him to shine this year and he's had every opportunity to do so. He should have at least 3 more TD receptions so far this year but he just can't catch the ball.

Based on his twitter feed, Im glad hes not here.

His twitter comments have actual affect on recruiting, unlike anything the self important rantards here say.

I'll settle for a tie between Faulk and Randle. The loss of Faulk maybe wouldn't be as big if we had Randle..and vice versa.

What has Randle said, and what has he said that wasn't true?

I agree with you on Odell. Between the last 2 games, I can think of at least 4 he should have caught. I disagree about Shep. There may have been 1 but other than that, I think they were not great passes thrown by Mett or good coverage by the DB. That being said, I think that has more to do with the little things that Shep doesn't do in regard to running routes and getting that little bit of separation that Boone and Wright do when they make catches.

The player we really miss is freshman Travin Durel. Saw him in 3 HS games last year. Kid would've stepped right in for RR... has great speed, great hands, and hard to cover. Hopefully ACL recovers in time for next fall.
