you completely missed my point entirely. It's that she was perfectly fine with (and actually predicted it happening) the $5,000 she gave him specifically for their wedding reservation being used at a casino instead. It's not about losing/not losing the money, it's that she had no qualms about the fact he used that earmarked money for something important to gamble with.

I see it more as she just knows him so well. Also, IMO she knows he wouldn't have normally gambled it, and that it would've taken some prodding by an enemy (Ralph Macchio) for him to do it. It's not like he was just taking the money and running straight to the casino to blow it. She also likely knows that even if he would've blown the money, he has money enough to actually pay for the shite he's supposed to.

I'll still defend the show, and still enjoy it. But this episode was a stinker. I don't think I really lol'd even once, and only chuckled maybe once or twice. Just a pretty blah episode overall.
