Hard to believe with all the great OL recruits we've had the last couple of years that we don't have a quality LT.

It's great to have 6th yr Sr like Josh D on the line, but let's be honest, he wasn't going to win the starting guard position this year. Now he's our starting LT going up against the best pass rushers in the country each week. If Lemonier owned him last night, Jadaveon Clowney is going to destroy him.

I don't care how good Mett is, if he doesn't have time to throw the ball he's not going to be effective. We need to get this sorted out... quickly.

We either have to keep a TE back to help Josh D. out or have someone like Ware step a pick on the rushing DE.

Nevertheless, I'm worried about UF's Dline against our left side.

no OL depth, no WRs that can get seperation or catch. But none of that is Miles' fault. He is perfect.

How come Les never seems to mention moving La'el Collins over to LT? I understand his thought process in putting JD there initially to maintain continuity on the rest of the line, but it's clear our offensive playcalling is being significantly hampered by a lack of confidence in our ability to protect the QB.

The first easiest solution was to simply plug JD in at LT. That's hasn't worked out. Next easiest solution is to move Hurst over, but IMO Hurst has hardly been dominate on the other side. Also, that move is highly contingent on V. Alexander's development.

The hardest solution is moving La'el to LT and simply switching he and JD. I think Les is hesitant because they felt with Faulk there they wouldn't have to throw La'el into that spot this soon. But things happen, and we have to adjust. If La'el is the best LT prospect we have, he needs to start there ASAP. He needs the practice ASAP.

I have posted before about Josh D not getting it done year before last, and had rantards spew shite at me! But it is what it is... Just because the guy knows the O line doesn't make him any better. Josh D can't handle the better D linemen.

I wasn't aware that we had great OL recruits. Of course, since Les and Stud are both former o linemen we should be top notch at developing the "big uglies"!

Collins and Josh D needs to switch.

Collins was the number one tackle and has held his own against Clowney.

this Josh D fresh off knee injuries sure can't. I've seen this movie before, it was called Ciron Black's sr. yr. hopefully we make a change.

Maybe they should switch, but this is terrible logic on several levels.

Move Collins there. Only reason not to is inexperience, but Josh D is getting beat so badly that I can't imagine Collins doing worse. Put him there next week and hope that he learns quickly.

The logic of making the switch is that Collins is a good enough athlete to play that position in the SEC. Josh D isn't.

Did Collins and Clowney go head to head in a HS All American Game or something? Wasn't aware of that, but I agree athletically Collins is our best shot.

Hurst might be an improvement over Josh D., but he's not the solution
