We run the ball against the creampuffs on our schedule. Why? We know we can run. But if that's ALL we can do then we will be screwed against the tougher opponents on our schedule. Then we are forced to pass when a physical defense, such as Auburn's, stacks the box. Why does the coaching staff wait until we have to, to try a pass heavy offense? Give Mett and the receiving corps some confidence and practice under a little less duress.

Hope Miles reads this. I'm sure he checks the Rant for coaching strategy.

I agree 100% with this post. Doesn't make any sense to average 9 ypc versus crappy teams. Mett should throw it 40 times versus Towson.

Surely he does read the Rant. There is so much coaching wisdom here for him to draw upon.

Its mainly our oline that needs the reps pass blocking. There is a need for change on the left side of the line so lets get a look at some of the young guys there

I'm pretty sure he read my post about BALANCE a couple of weeks ago. We seemed to pass more after that post.

Yeah, that'll happen.

Miles will do what Miles does. We'll run our offense, chapter and verse ,according to the crayon marks written in the Les Studthorpe offensive bible.

Because Towson is famous for their monster pass rush and kick azzz secondary?
