Until LSU hires a real offensive coordinator, we will continue to struggle. Year in and year out we are ranked at the bottom of the SEC in offensive output. It is so easy to scheme against us just like auburn did last night. It doesn't matter who we play, if they stack the line, we are screwed. We NEVER adjust to what the defense shows us. If 10 guys were stacked in the box, I swear we would still run between the tackles. It just so frustrating to get excited about our team every year and then see that nothing has changed from the previous 4 years.

We threw the ball 27 times, many of them moderate to deep. At one point in the 3rd we threw 3 straight times, all incompletions. Wasn't bad playcalling. Bad execution. GFY.

OC can only call what Les will allow him to call. Put the blame where it belongs.

I will say I was a bit surprised to see Stud retained as OC this year and Kragthorpe still just the QB coach. Wasn't the ultimate point of getting Kragthorpe here to be the OC?

Yeah being winless so far this year hurts, especially after losing 13 games last year.
Thanks for pointing that out. We all appreciate your in depth analysis. You can go back to your new Madded now.

I dont think we need a top 10 O......just think we need to be a bit more balanced and maybe check out of some run plays when we are staring at 8,9,10 men in the box

You are forgetting that pesky little annoyance Krags has called Parkinson's disease.

Les is the OC. He can't fire himself.

Kind of like when Mett checked out of run plays to throw quick slants several times last night, or did I just imagine that happening.

What exciting, young, full of piss and vinegar OC would you suggest.

I would take any offense over what I've seen the last 4 years. I'm not some punk kid that just wants some run-n-gun offense that scores 60 points every game. I do, however, want an offense that does not rank at the bottom of the sec every damn year. I understand that we are winning every year but we win in spite of our offense. If our defense was not as good as it is, we would be an 8-4 type team..

Bingo.....what happened to the other 10-12 times when Auburn had 9 men at the line and we ran it tight behind the guards? If something is working and let you keep doing it, why stop?

You're right. We need Jimbo Fisher back.
