Run the DAMN football~!

We are 4th in the league in yards per attempt but yet............... but yet we are again 30th in the league in attempts....... It's like a broken DAMN record and I for one as a very very long time fan am sick of it. The saints spend all this money time and effort to keep these backs but they continue to force Bree's and company to throw the dang ball. How many 3 & outs so far passing? I need to look that up...... Even without coach P here this staff still does not believe in running the DAMN football...............C'mon saints,..... I guarantee you the Saints would be sitting at 2-0 if only they would have had a 60-40 run vs pass

We've been playing from behind almost the entire damn season.
It's a whole lot easier to run the ball when you have the lead. Plus, we have the most prolific passer in NFL history

If Brees doesn't turn the ball over then we don't have to play catchup so much. They need to run the ball so Drew doesn't feel the weight of the world on his shoulders.

well that wasn't the case in the 1st game, he threw both ints at the very end of the game (1 on hail mary)
the 2nd game he threw an int with the lead, then the other on the last drive.

we finished 6th in the NFL in rushing last year and broke the record for yards in a season. The balance was fine last season

Amen! This offense needs to realize that we don't need Drew to carry it like he used to. Pierre Thomas is the most underrated back in the NFL, Sproles only lead the league in yards from scrimmage, and Ingram is no slouch either.
Start running the ball, controlling the clock and opening up the passing lanes for Drew. I swear to god, it is so frustrating to see Brees continuously force every other pass to Graham.

I'm honestly hoping we become more like the Broncos with Elway in his last two years. Although he still had the talent, they focused on the run game a whole with Terrell Davis. I'd say we have the horses to do it.

I for one am sick and tired of dumb arse so called fans that don't realize the Saints like to throw the ball...alot. Brees just set the f@cking record for most yards passing...not running dip shite. And I don't think they will be changing their program for a few retards that think they know more than Brees and CSP.
Also we have played like crap and been behind most of the two games.

I'm kinda for not really changing what the team is built around. If it works don't fix it. Throwing vs running isn't the problem. The team is simply out of sorts right now. "3rd coach is running the team."

Our offense is at its best when we can pound the rock and use PA off of that. All ill say is these first two games have seemed a whole lot like 2008 where Brees threw for 5000 yards but we were horribly inconsistent and did not run the ball well

We were one game from hosting the nfc championship game with a better offence that year (i believe) with drew Brees setting the all time passing record.
Any fan knows we had good balance in 09.
Since then I have seen no evidence that CSP wants to return to that run/pass ratio. Have you?
