Yeah, don't use after effects. Just save for web directly from photoshop. I haven't noticed any loss of quality with mine.

I normally use GIMP/AE for GIF's
My boss has CS6. I think imabout to install that and try to figure that out.

I'm still on my 30 day trial. But I have a Mac so what you sent me wont work anyways. I think I found a good one for when I'm done.
