Alright boys...welcome to my neck of the woods. Been living here about 15 years now (originally Gretna, LA)

Anyway, let's be at our best, this is a great town. If you want the best hangout after the game, I gotta go with the Auburn Oyster Bar and Grille. It's got it all in my opinion. For you hardcore late Partiers, the War Eagle Supper Club stays open until 5am? Be careful though, it's 'holy' ground for die hard Auburn fans.

I've been to every game for 10 years LSU is on the road to Auburn and Bama, with a few visits to Gainesville and Athens. So looking forward to seeing my LSU brothers and sisters, enjoying some REAL gumbo, and cheering after TD's, 1st downs, and stopping opponents on 3rd down.

Hopefully I can get a ticket at a low price as I just plan to and walk over to LSU's section. My wife is due on September 30th so she can't make it; she is insisting I go to the game though and will keep me on alert lol!

They are right next to each other lol. Lived in Gretna, LA went to Gretna Junior High...then moved to blocks over to Harvey for West Jefferson High School. Even lived in Algiers for awhile.

I guess I should've just said the Westbank

Lol. It's just that the Bama fans are incorrible right now. Last year, at my workplace several Auburn fans had LSU shirts on when we came to Tuscaloosa.

They are a little more gracious than Bama fans

You haven't tried the fingers, mahi, or a Long Island Ice Tea in a 32oz cup. Plus, the atmosphere more than makes up for variety

Never been at night, I can see the atmosphere being good. I just didn't like the food and no one else I know has anything great to say about it from a food perspective.

Are you fat? Just kidding! Seriously, I think the worst 'food' restaurant in Baton Rouge is better than Auburn's best.

Man I am so kidding about the fat thing! Look me up if u are in town I'm wearing an old white honey badger shirt from last year and a purple Afro wig. I'll by ya drinks

Scenario: Wife calls in the 4th quarter to tell you she's going into labor and to meet her at the hospital. The game is tied with about 5 minutes left and LSU is driving......What do you do???

Of course this is purely hypothetical since LSU will be on cruise control by this point.

Both are on S College. War Eagle Supper Club is near I-85 exit and Oyster Bar is near the intersection of Donahue and S College (about a mile from campus).

If you're looking for somewhere near campus I'd suggest Sky Bar or 1716 downtown
