:SpinoffThread:

Ive said it on here before....

I understand 2007 Florida
I understand 2003 Georgia
I understand the earthquake game

But the loudest moment that I have ever witnessed was in 2005

LSU #7
vs
Auburn #16
Oct. 22, 2005

The game was back and forth and eventually went to OT.

Notes from the game.

Skyler Green 66 yd punt return for TD (Tubberville loses his shite)
Kenny Irons rushes for 225 yds (called it before the game)
John Vaughn misses 5 FG's in the loss (including the game winner in regulation :06 left AND the must make game tying FG in OT)

Auburn kicker John Vaughn quote "Nothing can possibly describe the roar of that stadium when it missed, I'll never forget it as long as I live."

LSU vs Auburn 2005

Does anyone remember how loud this moterfricker was?

The funny part is that it was deathly quite when the ball hit the uprights. I don't remember how loud it got, but I do remember the atmosphere was electric in the stadium, even before the game started.

has nothing on 1979 USC....sorry but it's the truth

but the one that really really gets passed over is the Bring Back the Magic Game.

No TV. Only 85k could actually SEE it. But it was as loud as the old bitch has ever gotten

I was not at 03 UGA but at the rest

and the BBMG was special but never gets the love it deserves

until now

All I know is that on Nov. 3rd, Tiger Stadium needs to shake and put the rest of these to shame.

I wasn't in the stadium, but would have figured 2008 when Lsu blocked the potential game winning alabama field goal with under a minute to go in saban's first trip back to BR would be top 5. It sounded loud as frick on TV

I don't know man. I remember seeing on tv one time that, I think it was at tiger stadium, the crowd was so loud it measured on the richter scale as a small earthquake!! That's crazy!!

Another crazy fact I know too is that apparently an ex lsu offensive lineman, Herman Johnson I think, was the largest baby ever born in the state of Louisiana!!

Somebody told me too that the little guy for the Texans Trindon Holliday, he like won the men's NCAA 100m race!! Something like that!!

I know all kinds of lsu facts!!

Pregame v. UF in 2009 was unbelievably loud. As you walked through the gates into the stands, it simply overwhelmed you.

Somewhat forgotten is Auburn 1995 when Troy Twillie intercepted the pass in the back of the endzone to secure the win and "bring back the magic"

2008 Alabama when Francois blocked the field goal was extremely loud as well

Been at most every game since 70's except USC

I still say the loudest was pre kick off of the Ohio State game 1983ish ?

When Earl Bruce refused to bring the Buckeyes on the field first

Dawg, that sucks.

Nov. 3rd 2012 already ranks in the top 5.

I have had the pleasure of being on the field for quite a few games, mostly non-conf, my ears crackle. The UW game was loud. I can't even imagine what it would be like on 11/3

this. i was sitting in the north endzone a few rows back and could hear the ball scrape the flag at the top of the upright on the last missed fg.
