Can we have a board discussion about this. I'm talking the current problem's with our team and how they can be fixed, we can't fix them but you know, just our opinions.

General Discussion

Protection:
Drew's blind side is awful. I never had faith in Bushrod and to have Grubbs next to him doing a mediocre job is just blatant disrespect. I think this was done as a punishment for that contract Drew was given. j/k but yea its awful. Should have kept Nicks, and we can't blame Drew's contract as the cause of letting Nick's leave.

Receiving:
Our passing game isn't thriving because of protection issues but that is no excuse for the horrible play of one Joe Morgan. CUT HIM. Also why would we resign AA but then place him on IR, that practically suspension with pay TF? I guess since Loomis is gone they don't want to go crazy signing troubled players but come on, just sign Plax. Or bring up Tanner, and didn't we resign Armadillo where the was he.

Play Calling:
Seriously, Carmichael doesn't have any situational awareness until the 4th quarter. We're missing Coach Payton's play calling desperately. People say "Oh Charmichael called plays during Sean's injury" but what they fail to realize is that Sean was still there, with pregame preparations and also in the booth with a headset, he didn't give all that power away.

Secondary:
To start off, I would still let go TP in hindsight because we didn't know if he would stay healthy but yoo, that shite is horrific. Jenkins cool, Harper frick NO. He can't thrive in this system and is slow. Where the hell is Johnny Patrick? Corey White is a liability, I know damn well we could sign someone better than him.

Spagnoula:
Ok so his defense might take some time and I'm going to bare with him but we blitzed more than half our defense with GW and had better coverage in the secondary than this piece of shite defense and we mostly rush 4 players.

I have no problems with the run game, our D-Line, or LB's. They're doing just fine or atleast better than everyone else. Now if everyone else was doing good, maybe they're flaws would shine like the sun.

Last Problem:
Roger Goodell, frick him.

If you're going to lynch me over my opinions don't bother to post a reply, just had to put my thoughts out somewhere

We probably weren't going to be able to keep Nicks under any circumstances. He got paid, large, and we are constantly close to the cap.

Hurt.

He's a rookie out of Samford. He's going to take some lumps, but he's basically been forced into the role with Greer and Patrick being nicked up.

I’m not sure where to start. I don’t know what was dumber, a naked bootleg on your own 1 yard line or throwing into coverage instead of just hurling it out of bounds.
Even with the mistakes our offense doesn’t look terrible to me. We seem to be able to move the ball. But the defense needs to keep the other team under thirty sometimes. I honestly thought our new D coordinator would be an upgrade.
Turns out, you need a head coach. Who knew?
I’m sure everyone knows what the stats are for teams that start off 0-2.

I think it was either Nicks or Colston.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Not sure, but I thought at the time we should have franchised Nicks. But we were keeping it for Brees.
