Could be interesting, says it will be loosely based on his life.

ETA: Here's an update on Donald's show: LINK

EXCLUSIVE: Donald Glover has lined up his followup series to Community. The actor-comedian is set to write, executive produce and play the lead in a half-hour comedy, which has landed at FX for development. Which one, Weirdo? I didnt really like it the 1st time I saw it either. I did find it better the 2nd time. Either way I wouldnt call him horrible, but yeah there are plenty better. He's said to be a pretty good writer and his improvs on Community are usually great.

Luckily a sitcom isn't the same as standup.

See Demetri Martin. Funny standup. Horrible tv show.

Could be good. I was disappointed by his standup, but I loved some of his Derrick comedy sketches.

I never found Seinfeld or John Stewart's standups particularly funny but obviously their shows are fantastic

I've always felt that it's the correspondants that give the Daily Show the only comedic value it has.

John Stewart isn't really that funny, he's just good at pandering to his audience.
