Just got a lot closer to reality. And to those who said Trout was the clear favorite - think again.

Yeah I had Trout pretty much all season.. but Cabrera leads him in 4 of the 6 offensive stats. He has like 20+ more hits than Trout.

I recognize Trout's value to his team and the stolen bases is incredible.. It's really a toss up, but if Cabrera does take this triple crown I'd vote for him.

Cabrera is the hands down MVP.

No doubt IMO. More HRs, higher BA, OBP, SLG. Trout is a better defender and baserunner. If he had played all year I would probably give him a tiny edge, but he missed the first month.

It's starting to get interesting. He's got a legit shot.

Stolen bases are a glamour stat. Lots of teams do not even believe in it.

I hope he wins the Triple Crown and loses the MVP.

He has also played in 21 more games. I have been on the Trout bandwagon all year, but he really dropped off in the past month, whereas Cabrera has really turned it up.

I would like to see Trout get 30 HR and 50 SB though.

Hamilton left the game last night w blurry vision. I think most sources think its no big deal but who knows what that could mean.

Expected from a rookie... I wouldn't mind seeing him go 30/50 with a .330 average hope he turns it on

Hamilton went back to Texas. Not playing in the Mariners series, looks like. HR's are certainly attainable now, with Josh being unable to add to his total.

And today Cabrera hit #42, so now they are tied.
