After watching John Downs get helped off the field in the 2nd half, I was wondering who would step up as our 5th best DT? Anyone know who it would be? Q. Thomas, Mickey Johnson?

Dreaux, do you know this from practice reports or speculation? And how much of a drop off are we talking here? Subjective, I know but nonetheless I'm gonna ask it

Don't know but I think it's safe to say that the 5th DT may get significant playing time if Downs is as prone to minor injuries as he has been in years past

It's Quentin Thomas. He's considered further ahead of M. Johnson at this point.

Practice reports and depth charts. He is supposedly one of the most improved players in camp.

This is how it's been going until really late in games. Thomas (and I think Johnson) got in against Washington, but Aghayere slid down to tackle before that happened.

We also ran a lot of mustang with 3 DEs as the down linemen. Sam and Edwards were the inside guys most of the time when we did that.
