I don't want to sound like a downer, but can we PLEASE see our O air it out more? We were promised this would happen this season. I don't think going from 95 yds/gm to 195 yds/gm is what we were looking for. Will we see Mett throw for over 300 this season in any game?

We have like, 1000 yards offense in two games? Who cares how we get yards? It isn't like we're 99% run like last year...

Ummm, I think throwing for an extra 100 yards is exactly what we were going for. We are always going to run a ton under Miles. It helps all other facets of the game. You control the clock, limit the other team's TOP, and wear them down. Why do you want to see LSU throwing for 300? I am seriously wondering why this matters to you.
They did air it out, and a bunch of guys dropped a bunch of passes. How does the old saying go? There are 3 things that can happen on a pass, and 2 of them a re bad.

200 yards passing per game is all i'm asking for. If we have over 450 yards of offense per game at the end of the year i will fap!

Exactly. I just don't understand why everyone gets their jollies from passing the ball all over the field. Throwing will only be a means to an end for Les, and I like it that way. I get much more satisfaction watching and absolute mauling defense and Spencer Ware trucking fools than I do over some prissy pass.

If we get even 350 in any game, I don't think anyone could beat us. 400 yards a game with this D would be just ridiculous.

Same here. Our offense looks so efficient on the field. I am so excited about this season.

I like good football. Good football, with the team we have, means running it down the opponents throat and using passing to make sure their mouth stays wide open for more!
We got 500 yds of offense win the first week and people are bitching?! Really, would people rather see us get less yds as long as its done passing? Sometimes that is what it seems like.
This team can break the spirit of almost every opponent with the running game, and already can pass well enough to challenge anyone who might could slow down the run.
Can we just freakin enjoy it?
