You know who you are. You are the ones who don't understand football and whined and complained about all the bubble screens and lack of downfield passing last week. You thought you understood more than the coaching staff and wondered aloud on this forum if the coaches understood that you have to throw downfield if you want opposing defenses to respect your passing game.

Don't you feel stupid and foolish now that you realize that the coaches were just setting up Washington and now showing them what we were capable of? Of course you don't, because you are a rantard and will never admit you were wrong about something. But please, the next time you want to question the strategic choices of your top flight coaching staff...just think.. that just perhaps...Les Miles and his coaching staff has forgotten more football than you will ever KNOW!

I know who you are...please rantards...reread your posts from last week and realize what fools you are!

Love this, thank you...

I got so sick of defending the play calling to a bunch of knee-jerk clueless Rantards last week...Hell we even set up NT Tx when we ran a couple of double moves...

I am anxiously awaiting what idiotic thing they will gripe about this week...

The gameplan last week was not about setting up Washington. It was about taking what we were given. North Texas db's played ten yards off our recievers all night. Washington played a lot tighter, and we were able to beat them over the top. If teams start to play our recievers tight to stop the run, Mett will have chances to go over the top. Biggest difference this year is we seem to have a Qb that can complete a pass longer than 5 yds downfield with consistancy.

I totally agree... I think we ran the plays based on the defense alignments we were facing...I bring up the set up part to demonstrate how good our coaching staff is...we ran some effective double moves that were effective because of the WR screens and tonight we used our WR screen formations to set up some deeper passes knowing UW would be reacting to what they saw on film from last week.
