I moved to the area recently and I'm looking for a good bar in Baltimore to watch LSU play. Any suggestions?

I am in the same situation. I moved to Baltimore a few months ago, and I have not found a good sports bar.

They just do not care about college football here. Plus the O's vs. Yanks series in the weekend. Good luck us.

Find a hole in the wall, tip generously, and ask for a tv to be put on whatever station is playing LSU. The bartenders in the basement of Brewer's Art used to have a little tv and as we were well tipping regulars, they let us sit with their tv and watch what we wanted. That's the key to Baltimore. They don't give a crap about college ball (and after years of watching the ACC, I don't blame them)...you won't find many sports bars esp since ESPN Zone left, but you can find places to make your own.

Head to Fells Point or Canton and find a sports bar. That's what I do when I'm visiting family down there. Believe me, there are plenty to choose from by the harbor.

there's no "LSU bar" in Baltimore. We'd be interested in attending weekly if somebody set something up though
your best bet is one of the many sports bars in either Federal Hill or Canton. There are large contingents of different schools' fans that gather within. Perhaps the city of Baltimore in general doesn't care much about college football, but go out tomorrow and you'll find TONS of displaced fans that care very much about it
or you could come hang out on my roof deck in Mt Vernon while a few of us drink and grill tomorrow afternoon before the game. Only problem is, one of my friends that will be there is a Bammer

There is one around Annapolis that a lot of LSU fans go to. I'll see if I can find the name. My brother used to go watch all the games there when he was at the Naval Academy. I'll see if I can find out the name for you

Your home. You probably get ESPN.

We lived in Baltimore awhile back - they do have an active alum chapter. Mostly late 30s and older (the DC chapter is younger). Oe of the bartenders at Max's in Fell's Point was an LSU alum - if I remember correctly he played baseball in the 90s glory days. He was generous with his pours and left the volume up on LSU games.
Good luck!
Good luck!

The 18th amendment bar in DC, if you want to hop onto the Baltimore-Washington parkway. It is an LSU bar o game days.
