Is Oklahoma State Superceding the Univ. of Oklahoma?

I must say it's hard not to be impressed with the improvements Oklahoma State has made to upgrading its football program. With that said, in a strictly contemporary sense, is Oklahoma State superceding the Univ. of Oklahoma as far as football relevance?
At this point, what can the Univ. of Oklahoma offer a recruit that Oklahoma State can't?

In the grand scheme of things, OU is still the big brother.

Pickens is making it interesting.

That why I said in a strictly contemporary sense. Does history mean much to the kids both of these schools are recruiting? I don't think so.

Agreed. I just read an article where T. Boone said he'd like to see OSU play a tougher non-conference schedule. So, I guess that means that'll happen in the near future.

No.
If Oklahoma was in Okie State's position last season, it would have been LSU-Oklahoma.

The system is so rigged for the bluebloods, but Wetzel was onto this a couple years ago.

Tradition, fans, stadium, education, defensive coaching, a school not in the middle of a wheat field. The only Oklahoma State players that have been drafted high are wide receivers and Brandon Weeden.
Now, aside from coaching, what does that mean to the recruits...to the players? I'm talking strictly in a sense of the present. Oregon doesn't have much football history but they are one of the top programs based off of what they've done recently. So, history while it sounds nice for us fans to speak of, it's about where you're at right now.

I couldn't tell you exactly what it is they offer.
Considering though that last year OU had Rivals #11 ranked class and OSU had the #32 it has to be something right?

Not there yet, but if T. Boone thinks he can get Oklahoma State past Oklahoma you better believe he'll try to do it.
