Sounds like Pete Carroll hit a lot of you with a cattle prod. GEEZ, this was a good story. Take it easy.
My first game was 1980 and the cheerleaders would most definitely bang on that cage and make quick motions towards Mike to make him roar. WTF, if they prodded Mike in the 70's, it wouldn't surprise me. Hell, the police were prodding people around the same time.

'67-'73 no way to get a stick or anything thru the mesh and then inner cage.We would however feed him raw meat balls when he would roar thru a small door in the side of the cage.
