Beer vs wine.

I am normally a beer guy after work. I was out when I got home so I opened a bottle of Caymus 2010. Very nice.

Beer I good. Wine is good. Bourbon is good. It's all good.

Well that's not a bad gig I had an 2010 Miners Sangiovese at Ruffinos with a nice thick Molydooker Blue Eyed Boy which he is selling by the glass.

Its all about the moment. Wine, beer, bourbon, scotch, they all go well with a great cigar.

If I could afford to drink a nice bottle of wine every night, I would rarely drink anything else. However, there are times when I prefer other alcoholic beverages. On a hot day in the summer I would much rather have a beer, although a glass of Chardonnay/Pinot Noir would be nice at night. In the colder months my drink of choice would definitely be whiskey/bourbon. Nothing warms you up like whiskey does.

I went to Frank Family and talked tonDennis while I was out there. Will be getting a couple cases of their Sangiovese on special allocation in the next week or so. Miner is good, this stuff was awesome!

Its all personal preference though. I dont find one inferior to the other. I just dont enjoy wine as much.
I have been drinking much more wine lately (a glass or two a night ). We moved in with my inlaws temporarily while we're between houses. They have 2-5 bottles opened and decanted on any given night. Rather than open a beer i drink some wine (lots if burgandys and barolos)

Wine with dinner or dinner parties. It dehydrates me too much to drink it as much as I drink beer.

Beer will dehydrate you as much as wine. I always stay hydrated. I keep a bottle of water with me when I'm drinking wine and at a restaurant I keep my water filled. When we go to Napa first stop we make is the Target to get a case of bottled water.
