What would this solve? What would this prove? Who cares if there is a frenzy for any particular school? If you do, then why?

Last night Crimson Tide was on TV.

Bama is everywhere. It's a conspiracy.

Denzel Washington is an unscrupulous agent for the 'Bama hillbillies.

Still, it's a tough match-up for an untested young defense.

LSU is going to hammer Washington.....

We may in fact beat them by a wide margin because of the advantage our offensive line provides against their defense, as I noted. However, I think you are grossly underestimating how potent the Washington offense is and how good Price is. As I said, they run a system which is conceptually similar to WVU's. Simon spoke about that similarity in a recent newspaper article. That WVU team racked up over five hundred yards against last year's LSU defense. They won't be easy to stop, though I certainly hope we shut them out.

If we win 85-0 like OKST did last weekend we might turn a few heads. But a 40-14 victory won't do it.

Loston or his replacement better be ready for this game. That is the only area that concerns me for this game.

We could beat WU by 1000 points and it won't change the hype

I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but the media does like to build these things up.

I think Michigan was ranked WAY too high at 8, and the paranoid part of me thinks its because they wanted Bama to look better

And they are already hyping UCLA as underrated, and really talented. Just to boost USCw's sorry schedule

I agree about them having that WVA type scheme. But if they put it in the air more then 30 times, we will get some turnovers.

Nothing can calm the bama frenzy

IMO they deserve to be #1 right now. They played a decent team ( highly overrated) and sc or LSU did not. Just like I thought we should have been #1 after the Oregon game last year. IMO they have proved the most in week one

Agree, Who cares? Our obsession with Bama makes us look weak imo. Get over it. What the media says is inconsequential. Only our players and Bama's players will be on the field Nov 3 and they will decide who wins. Last year we weren't expected to win by most and Bama was getting huge amounts of love. At the end of the night our players decided who won and nothing the media said before or after could change that. The same will unfold this year. Let the media talk. If our players play to their capabilities and take care of business this season on the field then it doesn't matter what the media says. We control our own destiny and it doesn't get any better than that. It's in our hands, not Bama's or the media's.

Let LSU come out and unleash hell on UW. I'm talking 31-0 at half with Mingo and Montgomery murdering Price. The media won't get off Bama's dick but they'll stop sucking it so hard.

Wrong. I've been reading how badly we suck the past few days. Nothing impressive about beating down a hapless team.

I am thinking the first half of this game may be a shock to some of our fan base. Second half, I think LSU pulls away. There may be suicide alerts in the first half though.
