Yeah I'm sure you'd be saying the same thing if a kicker had just won you a game.

Hilt, there is definite value in kickers in regards to where they are drafted compared to their output. But it is extremely difficult to gauge a kicker from week to week with any sort of true accuracy. You can attempt to target a team that moves the ball well between the 20s but struggles in the redzone. And you can do the opposite looking at the redzone efficiency of the defense they are facing. But fact of the matter is they are wildly inconsistent. I'd be completely fine with getting rid of kickers all together honestly.

Gimme Sum Glory Hole (1-0) vs Heisenberg (1-0)

Yahoo prediction-wise and on paper this appears to be very close matchup. Unfortunately for Hull, all his key players except, for AJ Green, have very tough matchups. Plus Jennings is listed as questionable. On the other side, the matchups a very favorable for high scores. Okie takes this one.

Mo Isom's Body Fat (0-1) vs Swamp Donkeys (0-1)

Very, very interesting matchup here. Also equally tough to call. No glaring advantages for either side pop out at first glance. However if you look at the key players for both teams, the edge has to go to Swamp. This game most likely will center on the effectiveness of Ryan Mathews vs the Titans. The Titans are just are coming off getting lit up by Ridley on the ground and now have to travel across the country for a tough game 2 with the Chargers. Also, look for a big game from LeSean McCoy vs Baltimore who surprisingly gave up a big rushing game at home to the Law Firm. Swamp takes this one.

Mike Ehrmantraut(1-0) vs. Hey Homeauxs (1-0)

After coming off a huge comeback win can Dan get a second big win in a row? I say yes. When looking for key advantages Dan edges out Hilt 2-1. Those particular advantages will be Gronkowski who should be in line for a monster day vs. the Cards at home and McFadden vs. just a really bad Dolphins team. Hilt does have the big advantage at WR particularly with his Andre Johnson vs. Jacksonville matchup. That won't be enough though as Dan rolls to 2-0.

Bob Wickman's Gut (0-1) 8ball & MJD (0-1)

May be the hardest game to call right here. A lot of it will come down to how well Pittsburgh can do against NYJ's D, who apparently will be without Revis. Also can Larry Fitzgerald do well with shaky QB play @ New England who's D looked awesome vs. the Titans? Too many question marks on the side of glb, so I'm going to have to go with Vol. Cam Newton should have a monster game at home vs. my beloved Saints and that should be enough to carry him to a close victory in this one.

Caplewood (1-0) vs Muggla Fugglas (1-0)

EZE does have some pretty solid matchups but when you con sider Brady/Lloyd vs the Cards at home and Foster vs the Jags, there is no way I can feel even remotely comfortable picking against Caple. With potential if not likely big games from those 3 players, he'll roll to 2-0 after this one.

RollDatRoll (0-1) vs. The William Sister's (0-1)

Probably second toughest matchup to pick right here. Basically a toss up. I like the key players' matchups that Tchamp will have in this one however I like the overall potential of Roll's team. One sign of trouble going forward for Roll is McDaniel's comments about using Welker less in the Pat's offense. Whether that's true or not remains to be sign. That being said, I think Roll takes this one in a nail-biter.

*Note, I did take into consideration some of the bench players and what lineups most likely will look like as some teams have better options sitting on their bench. Surely they'll realize this and thus I used that assumption in these rankings.

I agree with all of this 100% and is exactly the reason why I do not like rewarding such a sporadic (lucky) position.

There is no rhyme or reason to the K position. You can play matchups all fricking day but it still comes down to drives stalling. I don't think that should be rewarded.

You can have a great week from 9 of 10 positions and get absolutely burned if your kicker only puts up 5 points while the other teams goes for 25...

I just dont like it but I've got Gostkowski so I should be okay...

ETA: I also think I take Dan this week in our matchup.

It will probably come down to whos QB produces more and I like Cutler vs GB a lot more than Freeman vs NYG ESPECIALLY @ NYG after a loss.

Also, HOU vs JACK, i should kill DEF/andre johnson.
Gostkowski vs ARI, he could score 30.

Not as loaded at RB this year sorry.

I'd be willing to discuss moving M. Bush though...

Would you want D. Williams, McGahee or take a risk on FJax? I'd trade one of those guys. Would like to upgrade at WR. Would be willing to throw Colston or Jackson in the deal also!
