Montgomery was a total non-factor. Any thoughts on why?

unt did a good job slowing up the pass rush for the most part, but he and mingo were getting pressure on the qb. just didn't finish it up with the sack.

their offense was getting it out quick. He didn't really have much of a chance to get numbers.

Just a meh game. The whole D-line was quite don't just single out Sam.

I felt like mingo, downs, and Logan all played fairly well

Mingo and Freak looked solid. I agree though Sam wasn't a big factor this game.

Only 21 pass attempts and he was not on the field for all of them.

A bunch of guru's in this thread.
Quick passes, extra blockers, and splitting time.

He is ready to go pro and he doesn't want to get hurt in a non factor game with nothing on the line.

I thought the whole DL played pretty well with the exception of Monty. He wasn't bad but wasn't as active as the others. The DTs were very good imo. Their main focus is in the running game and they did very well there. Downs was great last night. His initial punch and 1st step was on the money last night.

Yep. Lavar Edwards did. Idk what is up with Sam. Maybe he's not 100%.

They had max protection on pass and ran the ball behind their best linemen, the RG, away from SM99
