Well, the first game is on Wednesday.. and I figured better to start now and break down games for a week than try to crunch it all in on Saturday

One bet placed so far:

Seahawks pick 'em (posted last week, now -1.5 to -2.5 most places)

Good luck!

I'm thinking of putting 10* on Seattle. There is no way they can lose, is there?

I forgot all about the Wednesday game.

I'm going to be all over Detroit and the Detroit over. They are going to score a pile of points this season.

Wednesday, I like the Giants.

super Sharp ChemE

I was looking at that a week or so ago thinking, "it would probably be wise to lay down something now, that # could inflate quickly", but I was to worried about fishing

What am I missing here? What is going to make their offense score so many more points this year?

I like seattle as well. Putting down on that.

Atlanta -2 at Kansas City? I haven't seen much of KC this year.

May do Carolina to beat Tampa at -2.5. Tampa's run D is pretty bad and that's carolina's strength. Any others have any input?

here is a tidbit that might interest you. Since the Mike Smith/Matt Ryan era started in 2008, the Falcons are 0-6 playing outdoors in the month of September.

Both. Here is the breakdown:

2008: @ TB (+7) lost 24-9, @ CAR (+7) lost 24-9
2009: @ NE (+4) lost 26-10
2010: @ PIT (-1) lost 15-9
2011: @ CHI (-2) lost 30-12, @ TB (+2) lost 16-13

that 2008 breakdown is not a mistake. Both games just happened to have the same line and both games had the same final score.

My picks(bet last week):

Carolina -2.5
Atlanta -1.5
New England -6.5

All for 1*

Hoping to do a Wong teaser with Saints if line ever hits -8.5, but I doubt it will.

I know the Packers covered last year against the Saints. They were (+4) and won 42-34.

The year before, the Saints were (-5) vs. the Vikings and won 14-9.
