frick that play, Please remove it. We ran it probably 12 times and it was little to no gain 10 of the 12.

I hope you are being sarcastic... It got us at least 4 yards just about every time...

I'm gonna disagree.

Did we run the bubble screen too much? Yes.

Did we not get any yards on it? hell no. It's just like another running play. We turned the corner successfully several times last night.

Plus, it's sets up a pump fake and deep ball

I'm still surprised that we still run the option, although it was effective, but damn

We need to run more option.

Hell...Matt Barkley threw one on the first play from scrimmage last night that went 75 yards to the house. His bubble screen precision has locked up the heisman for him...or at least according to the announcers....

We ran that play so much because of the defense alignment...their DBs were 10 yds off our receivers the whole game...even in the red zone they were giving us a 7 yard cushion

If they were 7-10 yards off the receivers then their D Backs are very quick because they were on us mighty fast. I am not trying to be negative here but I agree to a certain extent that we over did the bubble screen. I just don't see anything different from last year (with play calling). I know it is the first game blah blah blah & we don't want to show our plays (which I think is BS) but I can see a lot of frustrated people as the season progresses if this continuous. Again I know I will get blasted for this post but I got it off my chest .....nah. I will always pull for my Tigers & never Boo like some did last night.

he also and idiot if he watched that game and thought that play wasn't working. They probably stop it for no game once or twice and shepard dropped 1 but that's it dude. we ran it 3 times in a row 1 time and u thought we kept doing it because it wasn't working .

If you are the Saints and have great blocking and precision, then it is fine. You also better be able to beat people deep with consistency. Lsu needs a hurry up offense that is all passes to change pace at times during a game and get Mett in a rhythm.
Sec teams will crowd the line and put 8 in the box. Offensive production in the sec will be about 250-280 y/g, but the defense is going to be a lot worse unless these young kids grow up very fast for chavis.

I was talking to a guy about this last night at the game. Every year we(fans) always say that we just dont want to show our plays but nothing ever changes as the year goes on
