Hard to read anything into this performance as it was first game against a cupcake. Team dealt with a hurricane earlier in the week and likely not as focused or jacked up.

1. Landry is the best player on the team.

2. Mett is unproven and did nothing tonight to validate the hype...albeit the gameplan was uber vaniLla.
3. Secondary will take their lumps this year but they will have more of a rush helping in big games.
4. Running backs are beast
5. Deion Jones gone be good

it's a philosophy issue.

Our head coach does not believe in seasoning our QB until we are in a huge game.

He prefers halftime of a huge game before we even think about that shite.

It's the 1st game. No kidding

I think I'm more worried about the defense more than the offense. The CBs and the LBs are really young.

The offense is what was expected. You pussies that keep complaining about the passing game are just that. Criers. 300+ on the ground, you don't need a passing game.

Miles offense is boring. That's why you're mad. You want to win by 70. It's not going to happen under Miles. You might as well deal with it.

Either that or go pull for Oregon

Mett needs to be in a pure play action passing attack with these rbs

It's CLMs team

If that philosophy works he will be the hero. Specifically if it works against Bama.

If it doesn't he deserves all criticism he gets.

BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT A PASSING TEAM!!

I'm not sure what it's going to take for you knuckleheads to realize that.

I,and I think most here would be happy with something resembling a balanced offense that can throw the ball vertically with some consistency

It's worked since he's been here. Why wouldn't it work again?

You need to have balance to beat the big guys. We are going to give up more points this year with a young secondary so we need to light up more points.

Everything we do is measured by Bama. There is only 1 team that can beat us and that is Bama. We all saw what happened last year when all we had was a running game. Don't be stupid, we NEED a passing game.

Except then they would be supporting the losing team in the first game of the LSU season

I love his attitude but this is just a ridiculous statement.

I'm sorry, did LSU not win a game vs Alabama last year? I may have missed it

Oh, you guys only remember the losses and what fits your argument. Sorry, I'll move along.

Not sure how good N Texas D is but I am concerned about our pass blocking.
