seating

My wife is finally getting to attend her first LSU game. Me and my son go every year to at least one game. we usually sit in the lower bowl, but this year i got 3 tickets in 634 upper section row x on the 40 yard line. How is the view from up there? Is it loud n crazy like the lower bowl? Im kindof wishing i would have went with the more expensive seats in sec 412 row 34 for 100 bucks more.. did i make a mistake by not spending more?? I want her first game to be awesome experience for her!!
