The media hates the O's but they are knocking on the door. I think Showalter is doing an excellent job of managing his players and holding down the throttle when it's needed, and backing off of it when things get out of hand.

Will the O's catch the Yankees? Can they hold on to the Wild Card?

back Monday and Tex end of next week...but if the O's hold onto for the win today they will be only 1 game out with

5 left with the Yanks
3/Rays
3/A's
3/Mariners
7/Blue Jays
6/Red Sox

they make the playoffs for sure IMO

He may be back if not set back, he is more a name than serious power threat now anyway....

Chavez 13 homers 266 at bats
Rodriguez 15 home runs in 352 at bats

lol honestly if Chavez is healthy I think he would compare favorably to Arod at this point in their careers. Arod has reputation on him though.

Orioles are now 1 game behind NY, but tied with A's for Wild Card.

meh that is very debatable... Arod is not the same Arod of 3 seasons ago, hell he isn't even the same Arod of 2 seasons ago. Age and injuries have caught up to him
