Hey guys, I've been working non-stop for the past week in regards to Isaac here in New Orleans. Was able to manage a way off for Saturday.

Anyways, with all the road closures, can anyone give me a good idea on how to get to Baton Rouge from New Orleans. With I-10 and Airline closed around La Place due to the flooding I wasn't sure what other road closures there were around Causeway or Slidell to get to BR. Any help would be appreciated.

Causeway to I-12. Take I-12 west. Hit Baton Rouge.

I-55 is open too, so you can get to I-12 from I-55 as well.

Apparently I-55 northbound is closed. Hope this helps other fans get to the game.

Thanks again!

Much easier route is I-310 or Airline Hwy in Kenner to Hwy. 3127 in Boutte. Take Hwy 3127 to Donaldsonville and then jump over Sunshine Bridge to Gonzales/Burnside. Really an easy route and much quicker.

Per WAFB Traffic Watch this morning: From Downtown NOLA take I-10 west to I-310 and cross to Luling/Boutte westbank. Take LA 3127 west to LA 3213 and go north back across Miss River at Lutcher to I-10... Assume you can find it from there

Avoid I-12 at all cost! It is full of speed traps, hugh holes, 3-foot drop-off shoulders, kegs of nails dropping off of contractors trailers, love bugs so thick that you have to stop every 70 feet to clean your windshield and trash debris left over from Katrina.

Causeway is worse! There are whole sections underwater.

Take River Road straight up to Baton Rouge.
