My predicted starting line-up:

Anthony Hickey
Charles Carmouche
Shavon Coleman
Jalen Courtney
Johnny O'Bryant III

I think Courtney's natural position is the 4. He has had a great off-season, is in good shape and I think he well-suited for the running offense LSU will have this year.

It will be a tough season. A 500 record in the SEC is probably the best-case scenario.

That sounds about right. If Jalen can't handle the 4, then we've got 2-14 in SEC locked up.

I think we may be around where we were last year. We lost some key guys down low, but honestly Trent's coaching on the offensive side was horrendous and as I've been saying, we win 3-5 more games last year if we had better coaching. I hope to see JOB3 improve tremendously down low as well.

Certainly losing Calvin Godfrey to academics and not being able to sign a legitimate post player hurt the Tigers & the team's depth situation, but at least it sounds like Jones is a much better recruiter than his predecessor.

Oh, you're that guy.

Must be a pretty sad life to only be able to concentrate on one thing at a time. I'm going to the football game tomorrow, but I am evolved enough to -- get this -- also talk about basketball today.

our bench will score alot of points. With Stringer Morgan Carmouche Hamnick and Eddie open shots against our opponents we should make them pay.

Hickey and O'Bryant will dominate this year. Sadly, we are not a very good team.

Don't worry about them, I guarantee you these are the douchebags that were huge basketball fans during the 06 season, and have hopped off the bandwagon since. They'll be care when we start winning again

I Also think Courtney takes the 4 spot.

This team will probably have great games and some poor ones based on matchups. Im hoping that coach Jones is able to be a solid X's and O's guy cause We could upend some solid teams with the roster we have. Obviously our post presence will be the biggest question mark. Hopefully a .500 SEC record is possible and I would see as a great success with the roster we ended up with. Really sucks we couldnt get Odoh or Godfrey.

I'm hoping that Hammink eventually gets to 6-8 or 6-9 and ends up a PF with guard skills. With his genetics, it's very possible.

With our roster we will obviously have to play some guard types at 4, but I don't necessarily think it will be a problem. As long as Jones plays to our strengths then I see a quick guard type playing 4 as a possible mismatch helping lead to some LSU offense. Think About Hammink taking some larger 4 type PF's off the dribble from the corner.

honestly w/l record isn't going to be all that important to me this season, I'll mainly just be looking at how we play for the most part. For a guy that was supposed to be an Xs&O's type coach, Trent's teams looked basketball retarded often.

smarter basketball and a more exciting offense is all I ask for in year 1.

Ill be happy with JOB's improvement as long as he figures out you don't have to dribble after an offensive rebound.
