I don't have power either dumbass, which gives me the right to judge you complainers.

With a handle like this, then you should be able to afford a generator.

Capital Heights people: I heard from a friend that works for the property management company for The Patrician on S. Foster that a tree fell on some power lines at the condo/apartment property across the street. That then caught on fire etc. Supposedly that will be repaired sometime between Sunday and Thursday. She is my neighbor in Capital Heights and they evidently spoke direct to Entergy on this. Just an FYI as we may be SOL for a while.

Damn. I might start to complain next week

Don't come onto this message board where you know people are going to be upset and start criticizing people for venting! Keep your Pollyanna opinions to yourself!! I would bet my arse you are sitting in front of a computer at work in the A/C. And yes, we do have a generator, but that doesnt make it much better, just keeps the food from spoiling! Now please, get back to work!!

Keep venting. It seems to be helping so much.

Like "its sooooooooo hot"?

You'd win but my house will be out, possibly until Thursday next week.

You need to get a better generator.

ETA: BTW, I had an evacuee from Mandeville stay at my house all during the storm. He had 4 feet of water in his house and didn't complain ONCE! STFU

Stop being a pussy. It's hot outside, and you're not the only person without power. Hell it looks like it's about to rain outside which will put Entergy behind some more.

How is "venting" going to help anything? Your more likely to piss the Entergy people off and make them do your area later then to get them to get you up sooner.

Sitting in my truck charging my phone. Don't have the luxury of AC other then this.

Sounds like you need to get better stuff. Even a 5000 should handle that plus a window unit.

I seriously doubt complaining is going to piss them off and make them wait longer to fix my power dumbass!! If that was the case no one would have power for months!

Have you ever worked in customer service? The majority of people will tell you that have that they don't give a rats arse about the rude customers who are bitchy.

Actually people like me and Motorboat would be fine. It would be the retards like you who have to bitch and moan to the people who are working on your power. Unless you are a hospital(including nursing homes),or government body you are not a high priority to them.

I still maintain you should have had a better plan. This wasn't even a "bad" storm for the BR area. What would you do if we actually got hit hard?

Sucks that they don't have undergrown lines. Would probably save them most of the time.

Dude give it a rest. We have every right to be unhappy about not having power. Yeah we are all thankful we aren't underwater but that doesn't change the fact that we would like to have power back. Get off your high horse and quit coming in these threads just to lecture people like our mother with the whole "there are starving kids in Africa shite". We realize we could have it much worse and feel for those that do.

I understand that it could be much worse and that 3 days without power haven't been terrible, but what else is a message board for other than bitching about things we have no control over.
