Usually not an issue in town and in neighborhoods. It can get a little rough on the ourskirts.

Agreed. They have down a lot of work on trimming a bunch of the old trees around the lines the past couple of years. The trees look like shite, but it should provide more safety for the storm.

I'm not even on Entergy. I'm on a co-op out of Winnsboro that services parts of the Rayville area. I don't have a fancy smancy map to check Looking at that radar, I am going to have to drive straight through it going home. FML

yea, we have casinos and our city doesn't smell like arse
but arguing for Shreveport or Monroe is arguing for suicide over being shot in the head by someone else, they both suck

So when is it actually gonna hit here? What are they saying as far as wind speed and flooding? Havent really done my research for Monroe.
Posted on 8/29/12 at 3:53 pm to Chuck U Farley
the center of it wont hit till tomorrow late afternoon but the rain and higher winds (about 25 to 30 mph) will start tonight around 6
expect 7-9 inches of rain according to what ive read but who knows

I actually think both are not half as bad as South LA would like to make them out to be... and I have lived in both north and south LA.
