quote:
Texas A&M, Texas, LSU in that order
About LSU
quote:
When it comes to LSU, Scott said "The coaches are real cool, the players, I got along with them. Coach Les Miles is real cool. He kept it 100 with me, telling me, 'If you come here, we'll take care of you.' "
About A&M
quote:
"It's because it's close to home and it's in the SEC so I don't have to go too far to play with the big boys," Scott said. "I've been going there a lot. Why go so far when you can play at home in the SEC?"
About Texas
quote:
"They're still No. 2 and when I've been going there, they make me feel like that's my home already," Scott said of the Longhorns. "[The offer] made me feel good because that's making me think that they really want me."

TAM has to be considered the big favorite but they're gonna sweat him until Feb.

He obviously likes the idea of being close to home, and there's nothing wrong with that, and playing in the SEC. If A$M has a reasonable showing this season it seems like he's theirs. But if they lay an egg you never know.

Maybe getting dat arse beat by the big boys will sway him to LSU

More than likely end up an Aggie IMO

Might wanna edit that, although I'm not sure ESPN is considered premium, since they usually blare it across their recruiting shows.

People should start paying attention to A&M, did you hear where Scott said that texas kids could now play with the big boys of the SEC and now dont have to leave home. I promise you in about 4 years, A&M is gonna be dangerous. They will start to get all the top tier talent out of Texas.

He may want to wait til the end of senior season then and watch two seasons of A&M compete with the big boys of the SEC first before making that snap judgement.
Not saying they won't be able to, but I think them and Missouri both are in for a culture shock from the wide open Big 12. The closest thing to smashmouth SEC football they faced was Nebraska before they bolted for the Big Ten

Agree. That 4 wide crap doesn't work in this conference. The pass rush's would have a field day. Also have to play some kind of defense.
Also don't think you'll see the top kids in Texas flocking to TAM. They may get more than they used to but Texas will still get most of the kids they want. LSU and Bama will beat them for kids more than TAM.
