The aesthetic problem with the West Upper...

is that it was designed to look new, clean, and modern. This may have worked okay, but when they had to put the sun shades over the glass windows, the facade no longer had that new, shiny, modern look. Instead, it resembles a prison with bars over the windows.
If Alleva wants to really improve the look of the West Side, he will find a way to get rid of those darn sun shades and expose those shiny windows.
Atleast then the West Side will look modern.

Didn't realize Joe had a degree in architecture. Gee, if only LSU had a college of architecture. Alleva wasn't here when it was designed so why blame it on him. Besides you guys really sounds like whiney little bitches about shite like this.

Those of us who actually lived in the stadium will tell you the prisonesqe features were not merely cosmetic, if you care to listen to anyone over 50.
