Lynn Rollins to announce replay games again, just shoot me

Danny Don notes Lyn Rollins will be doing play-by-play for replays again this year for LSU. I’m sure he’s a nice guy but he’s arguably the most obnoxious, grating, chalkboard scratching voice in sports television. Never mind what he has to say, I can’t get that far to care. LSU has made so many good moves to make their brand the best in the nation, but at some point they need to change out Rollins.

Fully agree. He looks like someone taking a crap everytime I watch him. That " pucker and kiss that baby goodbye" crap has got to go from baseball. Can't stand listening or worse watching him.

yet, it never fails, I see it’s on CST replay and begin to watch it, then i hear that voice and go, “oh shite” then change the channel.

I thought CST was pretty much dead in the water since they lost Hornets games and Saints programming.

Should just make a complete sweep of both Rollins and Hawthorne as both are minor league at best (and Hawthorne may not be that high).

I'd like him more if he didn't throw out stupid cliches every chance he gets. It's not amusing, and it's pretty annoying. Just call the game.

I'm hoping they'll take the opportunity to increase their LSU coverage, and other state or regional schools as well. But sadly, they'll probably just screw something up.

Agreed. The only broadcaster that has actually made me consider turning off the TV is when Herm Edwards did a few LSU games back in 2010. Was just unbearable.
