Has anyone on here been? If so what's the place like and what's the beer selection like?

Not sure, but I think Calandro's is going to start doing beer tastings there in the next month or so. I've only heard of the name. No idea where it is.

It's in the shopping center on Airline and Barringer Foreman next to Pimanyoli's. It looks like a nice place, but I'm not sure if the location is best for this type of business.

It is really nice. Classy, upscale. The sort of place you would bring your wife/significant other before or after dinner. I can't remember anything about the beer selection, so that means it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. We went for happy hour and the prices were good.

Yes, CJ mentioned that to me too.

I know they at least have Canebrake, so that's a start.

It's a nice bar. Non smoking and they have live music. The 3 times we've been it hasn't been crowded.

Don't know much about the beer selection. My husband drinks Abita amber and they had that.

I like that. I'll have to check it out pretty soon.

I think Wed-Sat. Not sure. They have a facebook page and twitter.

Kirk Holder (variety) was there one night and I can't remember the other performers. One duo was very forgetable.

Tonight is a fund raiser with David St. Romain.

been a few times. the owner is always there and she is really nice. Always takes suggestions if there is something you want and they don't carry. Haven't been a month or so, but the beer selection isn't going to blow you away. Guess it is hard to carry rare beers and rare spirits unless you can move them.

They did up the interior real nice and there is a lot of room to spread out and not be on top of people you don't want to be near.

Probably not a place to watch the Bama/LSU game, but say North Texas where the mood is a little less rowdy it would be worth checking out.

That sounds awesome.

It is a nice little place, but I'm not crazy about it being right next to a police station.

Nola Blonde, Sierra Nevada PA, all the Abita you can handle, and some other usual suspects.

I haven't been in a couple months, so I'm not sure if they have added anything.

Yea, it's pretty bad. Like some sort of caricature, but not meant to be.

Owners names Holly and John, or Joe, or Josh...something Jo.

Basically came up with Heaux Jeaux's from their names. I think it could have been better too. Also have a tire place in the area that just changed the name to Skidmarks...can't make that shite up.

But still is. Post below yours says the owners are Holly and John. The "EAUX" is just so cliche and unoriginal. It is like the fleur di lis.
