Hendo tears his mcl and Jon Jones turned down a fight to fight Chael Sonnen as a replacement. Whole event is now cancelled. LINK

yes they will fight on the card on september 22nd on UFC 152

You can thank Greg Jackson for Jones not taking the fight vs Sonnen. He told Jones it would be the biggest mistake in his career to take that fight. We need to get this clown out of MMA. He knows how to coach but the guy is a cancer to the sport.

I'm listening to the media call he is beyond pissed at Jones and even more at Greg Jackson. They just lost a shitload of money promoting this event and having to refund all the tickets they sold.

Dana should be pissed. Sonnen is a great replacement for Hendo. Greg Jackson doesn't have to change his gameplan at all for Sonnen. Sonnen will still sell PPVs. Win-win for everyone.

Ok so why not let Machida fight then?
I realize it's going to happen at 152, but why not just do it at 151. Is 3 weeks that much of a difference for Jones for someone whom he has already beaten?

Machida was on a flight back to Brazil and not in any shape to fight a 5 round fight right now. Plus Greg Jackson was telling Jones to not take any fight.
