I'm really high on both guys but I feel like this is the year Mcfadden actually stays healthy for all 16 games. If so I could easily see him being the top RB in fantasy. McCoy on the other hand had a terrific year last year but is he even going to come close to 20 total TD's this year? He is much safer on the injury front yet I think McFadden has more potential to have game changing weeks this year. Any thoughts?

McCoy needs Vick to stay healthy.

DMac needs Dmac to stay healthy.

I think both will have great years.

If DMC says healthy, I think he is a top 4 RB. I have him along with Foster.

McCoy is going to be top 3 as usual IMO.

I really hope so. He great to watch. I've always stayed away from him in the draft and just hope I dont play whoever drafts him early in the season

Thing is are draft is next Thursday and i have the #4 pick. There is no chance in hell that I can get DMC in the 2nd round so I'm not sure what I should do

McFadden is a risky play. I think he'll be the top RB if he stays healthy, maybe the top player in fantasy, but that's a huge if given his injury history

I've asked this honest question before (as a McFadden fan). Can you name a RB who started the career like DMC, injured constantly his first 3-4 years, and then got healthy?

If this is what you think, then you go with McFadden

If you look at his injury history they are all random stuff such as turf toe, bruised shoulder, sprained foot, nothing like an ACL tear or something more serious

I love McFadden but seems like a minor cut would keep him out for a couple of weeks

This I'm not sure about it. Turf toe doesn't "sound" bad but I think it's like spraining/dislocating your toe. I can understand that being very painful. His injury last year was a sprained arch. Ouch.

I too have pick #4. I think I will have a shot at McCoy/McFadden/Chris Johnson. I can make arguments for each one, but I am seriously torn. 10 team PPR. I've gone back and forth a dozen times already!

Last year I had McFadden and Bush, so it worked out great, but this year I have little faith in his handcuff (Goodson/Jones).

I had the same thing last year so thank god for bush. all the indications out of Raiders camp is that McFadden is going to do everything for them this year. stupid injuries ruining a stud of a RB

And AP. I'm hoping DMC stays healthy. Even with AP not 100%, I still see him getting around 1100yd for the year.

off the top of my head, Fred Taylor? Like DMC, he was very productive when on the field but consistently missed time due to injuries. In Taylor's first 4 seasons, he played in 40 games. In DMC's first 4 years, he has played in 45.

In his 5th and 6th seasons, Fred Taylor played in every game.
