I have the 1st pick in a league where the QB gets 1pt/15yds passing and 6pts per passing touchdown. Rodgers has to be my selection, right?

ETA - RB/WR/TE uses standard scoring....

That's terrible advice.

What if this is a shallow league?
What if he gets stuck with 2 quarterbacks?
What if he's stuck with all 3?

You never know what you'll get via trade. You need to hit with your top picks.

Every Qb gets 1pt/15 yards right? Then I'm still taking Rice or Foster first. The fact that QB scoring is heavier doesn't matter bc it applies to ALL qbs...

And by all means DO NOT take 2 or 3 in a row like that assinine advice above... you'll get stuck with at least 2 and be screwed

It's 12 team league - snake draft. Don't pick again until 24/25. But I'm thinking a good QB could account for damn near 50% of my team's production per week. Seems to me like the dropoff between a Rodgers/Brees/Brady and a second tier QB would be greater than the dropoff between a Rice/Foster/McCoy and a second tier RB (especially using a standard scoring format for RB's).

Nothing wrong with taking Rodgers #1 with all TD's being equal. With your scoring format, he's going to consistently score you 38+ points a week. All 3 of the guys you mentioned should be first rounders.

Any one of the big 3 QB's would be my pick. I think they are pretty equal.

I agree, plus with a QB you have a less chance of him getting injured; take Rogers
